Sashi is back in Hong Kong to take another peek into different facets of the city. At Quinary, his friend Anthony Lai gives Sashi a very detailed insight into the world of mixology, the high dollar gadgets, the fantastically complicated (but delicious) libations. We will observe a manufacturing process of a celadon - a rare type of ceramics. Moreover, we will surely tap into this process. Then we will head to the famous island of Koh Phangan to get to the most vibrant event of the month - a Full Moon Party, to see thousands of party animals getting hammered. And then we'll see them cleansing their souls after the feast… And bodies as well. Participating in mysterious rituals where shamans burn small holes in their clients’ skin to inject the frog venom under it.

Surkalén is composed of three Chileans from Valparaíso and a Russian-Canadian violinist. The word Surkalén consists of the words Sur, for the South American origin and Kalén, which means different in the Selknam language (former inhabitants of Tierra del Fuego). Therefore honoring disappeared people. Most of the group’s creations are strongly influenced by South American rhythms and music of the world. Surkalén’s music is different and unique!
