Raphael Federici (street artist), Marine Goodmorning (illustrator), Luca Fiore (cartoonist) and Harry Boudchicha (drawing teacher) reveal their best drawing techniques. Each episode focuses on a specific subject: movement, oil painting, shadows, hair... For the first 10 minutes, each artist gives a theoretical lesson illustrated by sketches. Then they each start working on their creation. Finally, they end with a debrief, comparing and explaining their techniques

In the early 90s, the new mayor of Sendai developed a project for a media library, a type of building hitherto unknown in Japan. Its architect, Toyo ito, broke with the assumptions of 20th-century modern architecture: the media library, with its "space without barriers", was the first step towards an immaterial, evanescent architecture, leaving plenty of room for the ephemeral.

Rembrandt is widely considered to be the greatest Dutch painter of the 17th century. A master in the use of light, particularly the chiaroscuro technique, as well as an exceptionally talented draftsman, Rembrandt’s work was considerably influenced by the dramatic events of his life (the death of his wife, financial bankruptcy, etc.). You will discover in this exhibition some of his most famous paintings exposed at the Louvre, such as “Bathsheba at her Bath”, also exposed at Mauritshuis with “The Anatomy Lecture” or his famous self-portraits. In the 16th century, Cardinal Scipione Borghese, the Pope’s nephew, built a villa specifically to house his private art collection, one of the greatest of its time. Bought by the Italian government in 1902, this wonderfully rich collection brings together masterpieces signed by the greatest of artists. You will find one of the copies of Leda and the Swan by da Vinci as well as Caravaggio’s David. Enjoy your visit!

In the middle of the 20th century, Kasimir Zgorecki worked in the mining basin of northern France. This exhibition takes place in a particular context because it is the centenary of the signing of an agreement between France and Poland on emigration and immigration, which led to the massive arrival of Polish workers in France to work in the mines. This is the case of the photographer Kasimir Zgorecki.

Two legends of British comedy, Ronni Ancona and Jan Ravens are joined on this Road Trip by antiquers Phil Serrell and James Braxton. Starting in the North Yorkshire town of Redcar they’ll head for auction in Stockport in Cheshire. Jan gets rather carried away and spends every single penny of her entire budget. While Ronni gets a kick out of a very kitsch glass boot. A quick detour sees Jan find out why Hartlepudlians thought a monkey was a Frenchman and Ronni is left open mouthed when Braxton takes off his clothes. Crikey!

Pop Icon and actress Claire Grogan is reunited with fellow Glaswegian, Taggart actor Alex Norton as they battle it out in the search for profitable antiques. Anita Manning and Paul Laidlaw are on hand to lend their expertise. Anita and Alex find themselves on an Antiques ‘Boat’ Trip as they reminisce about childhood trips down the Clyde. Along the way the girls meet a clog maker who carves shoes by hand. While the boys head to the Herefordshire Light Infantry Museum to hear about the regiment’s involvement at Gallipoli.

Also John learns how an American revolutionised British public transport and Lynn sees why snakes are milked in Liverpool.
