Welcome to the 51st Trofeo Princesa Sofía regatta in Palma de Mallorca! More than a thousand of accomplished sailing athletes compete in the first Hempel World Cup Series regatta of the new Olympic cycle. As the start of the European racing season, a great sense of urgency and enthusiasm can be felt among competitors, and as a vital event, we are eager to see how their training has gone over the winter.

High doses of action, excitement and sporting spectacle on the shores of the Mar Menor.It is a competition that brings together all the nautical disciplines of foil type (consisting of a keel shaped like a mini-airplane placed under the board). A spectacle of action and color, right here.

After over 85 championships in over 12 countries, the P1 world is fast, and growing. The international motorboat racing competition organised by the Union Internationale Motornautique (UIM) is the highest class of inshore powerboat racing, proving to be an adrenaline rush for both participants and spectators.The UIM F1H2O World Championship is the flagship series of international single-seater inshore circuit Formula powerboat racing. Kite Masters 2017

In this first episode of 2017, we travel to the paradise beach of Pak Nam Pran, in southern Thailand for the first kite racing event of the year – the Asian Twin Tip Racing Championships. We also head south-east from Thailand to Indonesia, a country blessed with some of the best waves on the planet – and we meet up with pro kite wave surfers: Keahi de Aboitiz, Moona Whyte and Matt Elsasser. We visit another great place for kiting, Zanzibar, the pearl of the Indian Ocean, located east of Tanzania and from Zanzibar to Chile, to the big rocks of this incredibly wild coastline and consistently powerful waves. Finally, we move to Korea where the world’s top pro-riders faced off at the first round of the 2017 IKA Kitefoil Gold Cup.

In this episode we fly to Europe and descend on Italy’s notorious Gizzeria kiteboarding spot, where the riders really like to be Uncool – in a statement of “reverse kudos”. Thanks to its reputation for excellent kiteboarding conditions and a relaxing ambience, Hangloose Beach annually hosts some of the world's top events. We catch up with the 2017 IKA TwinTip Racing Slalom European Championship where the titles are closely fought among a line-up of almost 120 riders from 21 different countries.
