They’re all chasing the oldest trophy awarded for competition involving one-design yachts, the King Edward VII Gold Cup.World and event champions highlight a fleet adorned with accolades for the celebratory 70th Bermuda Gold Cup and 2020 Open Match Racing World Championship, hosted by the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club. The Hempel Sailing World Cup Series is back. The 2021 season takes place in Medemblik, The Netherlands, during the famous Allianz Regatta. This is the first Hempel Cup Series since the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, and sailors are excited.A grand total of 350 sailors from 47 different countries are participating across eight Olympic classes.
