Welcome to the Canoe Sprint World Championships 2019 celebrated in Szeged, Hungary! Today there are about 1,200 athletes racing from approximately 98 nations, meaning this is the biggest World Championships canoe sprint racing has ever seen. We're about to witness the fastest paddlers on the planet battle it out for medals, for World Championship glory, and to qualify for their country at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Enjoy the best moments at Szeged on the 2019 Sprint World Championships. 

Szeged in Hungary is the third biggest city in the country and the chosen scenery for the Sprints World Cup. Organisers of the ICF canoe sprint moved heaven and earth to prove an international event in the middle of a global pandemic was possible and safe for all participants. The Hempel Sailing World Cup Series is back. The 2021 season takes place in Medemblik, The Netherlands, during the famous Allianz Regatta. This is the first Hempel Cup Series since the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, and sailors are excited.A grand total of 350 sailors from 47 different countries are participating across eight Olympic classes.
